Terms of Service
Effective November 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and ONECHUNK ("we", "us") for your use of SolvPal, our AI study app for iOS and the web (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use SolvPal
You must be at least 14 years old to use SolvPal. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian, who may need to agree to purchases on your behalf.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your device and sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can stop using SolvPal and ask us to delete your account at any time.
3. Subscriptions and free trials
- Some features need a paid subscription. SolvPal Pro is offered as a monthly plan, and as a yearly plan that may start with a free trial. Prices are shown before you buy and may differ by country.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. A free trial turns into a paid yearly subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then.
- Purchases in the iOS app are made through Apple, and purchases on the web through Paddle, which acts as the reseller. Their terms also apply. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings or through your Paddle receipt.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies. For web purchases, contact us or Paddle; we follow the consumer laws that apply to you, including any right to withdraw from a purchase. See our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before it applies.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the recordings, files, photos, and text you add ("your content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, copy, and process your content, including with the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy, only to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
You promise that:
- you have the right to use what you upload. Only add materials you own or are allowed to use, such as your own notes or materials your school lets you use for personal study;
- you follow the rules of your school and the law when you record a class or lecture, including getting permission where it is needed; and
- you follow your school's academic integrity rules when you use content from SolvPal.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- upload content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or contains someone else's personal information without permission;
- use SolvPal to harass, deceive, or harm anyone;
- try to access other users' data, break our security, or overload or reverse engineer the Service; or
- resell the Service or use automated means to access it except through features we provide.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. AI-generated content
SolvPal uses AI to make notes, quizzes, flashcards, cheat sheets, videos, and chat answers from your materials. AI can make mistakes or leave things out. Check important information against your original materials and your teachers. SolvPal is a study aid and does not replace instruction or professional advice.
7. Our rights
The Service, its design, and its software belong to us and our licensors. Apart from your content, these terms do not give you any rights in them other than the right to use the Service as described here. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
8. Changes and ending the Service
We may update the Service and these terms. We will post changes here with a new effective date and tell you in the app before an important change takes effect; if you keep using SolvPal after that, the new terms apply. We may suspend or end the Service or your access for a serious breach of these terms, with notice where the law requires it.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your content or by your breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the competent courts of Korea, unless the consumer protection laws of your country give you the right to bring a claim where you live.
